ABOUT COOKIES
Cookies are small text files that websites send to the user's terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) and which are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites at the next visit by the same user. When visiting a site, a user can receive and store cookies that have been sent to Web sites from different servers ("third parties") in its terminal.

TYPES OF COOKIES

It is necessary to inform the user and receive their consent even for the use of “third party” cookies.
In detail:

Technical Cookie
This type of cookie is further subdivided into:

The website works best if technical cookies are activated. It remains possible not to allow the use of cookies on your own computer by changing the settings on the browser used. It should be noted however that if the cookies are disabled, some of the working functions of the site might not be active.

Profiling Cookies
Information regarding the user can be collected through cookies, which can be used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences shown by the same user when browsing the net (profile). Due to the impact of such techniques regarding the privacy of the user, it is necessary to have the user's consent (art. 122 of D.Lgs196 / 2003). When cookies are used for such purposes, the site will show a specific summary report (banner) that also contains an indication of the ways in which you can express consent for the use of profiling cookies, according to the provisions contained in the measure of the Data Protection Commissioner "Finding simplified ways regarding information and acquisition of consent for the use of cookies - May 8, 2014". Profiling data is stored for twelve months.
